Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Makeup Services

£50.00

Being a makeup artist post COVID-19 – It’s never been so important not only to be competent but also qualified.
The makeup industry has been one of the last to open up again post COVID. This is because the need to touch the face and eyes to apply makeup makes it one of the most difficult practices to keep safe.
No one is doubting your skills, your work speaks for itself… BUT… EVERYONE is doubting your ability to keep your client and yourself safe. This includes your insurance provider, your client, producer, cast and crew of any production/shoot you’re booked onto.
In these uncertain and worrying times the “qualification” is everything. To be clear, the word qualification does not mean a certificate from a company or brand. To be accepted as a qualification, it must be on the government framework.
In short, you could be trained to the highest standards but still not be qualified and therefore, possibly not insured.
This is a government framework qualification in the prevention of infection, allowing you to gain insurance for the job you love.
