Professional Media Hair & Makeup Course: Part Time

You will graduate in just 1 year with all the skills you need to start on the road to your dream career, from a well recognised and exceptionally regarded school.
You will be taught by Industry professionals with years of experience (see our tutors page)
You will be encouraged to participate in work experience and in house photo-shoots, to enforce your skills and give you the confidence to apply for jobs.
You will gain that all important internationally-recognised qualification.
You will be training in the North West’s largest Film Studios, Space Studios. One of the best loved studios in the UK (Peaky Blinders)
You will be provided with everything you need during your time at Aqua Rosa and you will also receive a free set of Makeup brushes on arrival
You will study with us 1 day a week Friday or Saturday 10am – 5.30pm and you will undertake some coursework and practice at home.

Makeup for Bridal and Asian Bridal
Makeup for Clients, Events, Instagram and Creative
Male Grooming for all the above
Corrective and Camouflage makeup
Period Makeup for TV, Film and Theatre
SFX makeup, including prosthetics pieces, bruises, scars, wounds etc
Basic Body/Face painting
Hair Styling for All above events
Period Hair Styling
Wigs, including, Blocking, Styling, Measuring and prepping, Application, removal, General wig care and cleaning
Facial hair application, removal, and cleaning
Industry studies, including continuity, finding and applying for work, set etiquette, CVs
Coursework, assessments, Exams and portfolio building.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?
The school takes full health and safety precautions to ensure a safe learning environment and so all dates are subject to change, dependent on Government guidelines re; Coronavirus.
All of our courses now also include added elements of H&S home learning with course work provided for completion off site.
